Training workshops for police, administration police, and county askaris. Reducing harassment and violence against key populations. Distribution of rights cards and establishment of police-KP liaison mechanisms for constructive dialogue.
Rights Education & Awareness
Community education on human rights, discrimination, violence prevention, and civic participation. Radio programs, baraza meetings, and school outreach. Empowering communities to recognize and report violations.
Violence Response & Survivor Support

2015: Rehab Centre Location Advocacy
Successfully advocated that Kombani Rehabilitation Centre be located in accessible coastal area rather than remote site. Impact: thousands of beneficiaries gained access to treatment.
2017: Media Advocacy on Drug Cartels
Public statements by director raised national awareness about drug cartel violence affecting coastal communities. Advocacy led to increased police presence and security improvements.
2021: NACADA Recognition
National Board recognition validated harm reduction model and positioned TWC as trusted advocate in national drug policy discussions.
Ongoing: Police-KP Liaison
Regular dialogue forums with law enforcement reducing harassment incidents. Youth report increased safety and reduced police arbitrary detention.
